LegalTech Open

Not at all! The LegalTech Open is designed for golfers of all skill levels. We play a best-ball scramble format, which means your team uses the best shot from all four players on each stroke. This makes it fun and competitive for everyone, regardless of experience. The focus is on networking and having fun.

Your registration includes: 18 holes of golf with cart, BBQ lunch before tee-off, on-course beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), access to the driving range for warm-up, locker room and shower facilities, sit-down dinner with awards ceremony, entry into all on-course contests, a complimentary raffle ticket (prizes include an Angus Glen foursome, Sadelmager bag, Blue Jays tickets, and Canadian Open tickets), and a team photo. Everything you need for a full day of golf and networking!

Absolutely! Individual registrations are welcome. We'll pair you with other individual golfers to form a foursome. It's a great way to meet new people in the legal tech community. If you have a partial team (2-3 players), we can help fill your group as well.

Standard golf attire is required. This includes collared shirts, golf pants or shorts (no denim), and soft-spike golf shoes. The club prohibits metal spikes. For dinner, business casual is appropriate. If you're unsure, feel free to contact us.

All registration fees are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your registration to another person at any time at no additional cost. Please contact us to arrange a transfer.

The tournament will proceed in light rain. In the event of severe weather (lightning, heavy storms), we'll follow the golf course's safety protocols. If the event is cancelled due to weather, we'll work with registrants on rescheduling or refunds on a case-by-case basis.

Yes, club rentals are available at the golf course for an additional fee. Please indicate your need for rental clubs during registration so we can ensure availability. We recommend booking early as rental sets are limited.

Every registered golfer receives a complimentary raffle ticket. You can get additional tickets by purchasing an arm's length of tickets for $20, or by participating in the Beat the Pro challenge ($10 buy-in earns you an arm of raffle tickets). Prizes include an Angus Glen foursome, a Sadelmager bag, Blue Jays tickets (4 pairs), and Canadian Open tickets. Winners are drawn during the dinner and awards ceremony.
